Kosa represents the rebranding of the downtown Conshohocken salon, formerly known as I'm Sergio, following its acquisition by accomplished career stylist Vesna Magalich. Drawing inspiration from her Serbian heritage, Vesna chose the name Kosa, which directly translates to "hair" in Serbian. This project focused on developing a new brand identity that reflected Vesna's vision for a premium salon experience and resonated with her personal touch.

The decision to utilize black and gold aimed to evoke a sense of premium quality and sophistication. The final logo design cleverly integrated the initial "K" from Kosa with visual cues representing both a pair of scissors, a fundamental tool of the stylist's trade, and the letter "V" as a subtle nod to Vesna herself. To establish a distinct aesthetic for Kosa's marketing materials, Midjourney AI was employed to generate a range of visually compelling images. These AI-generated visuals provided a foundation for the salon's look books and in-studio posters, setting a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere. The design considerations also extended to business cards and other essential materials, ensuring a consistent and premium brand presentation across all touchpoints.
